He has a tremendous amount of talent
If you say so. I haven't listened to him. I can't even look at him. It's like looking at a baby.

I said this to my kids four years ago, his family( mother was cashing in, leaving him unsupervised and unable to choose friends wisely
I said, and they all said I was stupid, all talented musicians find their passion and improve on it at age 13.
I have many lists of them in my head. The smart ones, or the poor ones or the ones with loving mature humble parents are the ones who are lucky
He peaked too early.

Peaking early is the STORY of Hollywood children and teenagers...and their mothers who SELL THEM DOWN THE RIVER...and I hope they burn in H - e - double hockey sticks.

His family is stupid and he has to pay the price ( unless the authorities continue to give into bribes and keep letting him go)
He is 19 years old so he is, theoretically, a man and has to stand on his own. My opinion: he is doomed. But then, I've seen that same story from all the way back to Natalie Wood. Sad story, but they DO have the money to help with the sadness.

He is surrounded by greed and avarice, with no skills in choosing friends v enemies v frenemies.
His absent father and naive greedy mother are to blame
He needs help. And those who’ve collected millions from him are very busy.

Nothing new here. Same story with SO many of the people who go to Hollywood. He CAN opt out if he wants. He's a big boy and can make his own choices.

But to say he’s not talented no. That’s where this started.
My idea of talent: CLASSICAL guitarists.
Here's a list of 20th century geniuses.
Laurindo Almeida (1917–1995)(Brasil)
María Luisa Anido (1907–1996) (Argentina, Spain)
Agustín Pío Barrios (1885–1944) (Paraguay)
Abel Carlevaro (1916–2001) (Uruguay)
Leif Christensen 1950–1988
Alirio Díaz (b. 1923) (Venezuela)
Sila Godoy (b. 1919)
Alexandre Lagoya (1929–1999) (France)
Antonio Lauro (1917–1986) (Venezuela)
Miguel Llobet (1878–1938)
Sergei Orekhov (1935–1998)
Emilio Pujol (1886–1980) (Spain)
Ida Presti (1924–1967)
Celedonio Romero (1913–1996) (Spain)
Regino Sainz de la Maza (1896–1981) (Spain)
**Andrés Segovia (1893–1987) (Spain)
José Tomás (1934–2001) (Spain)
**Narciso Yepes (1927–1997) (Spain)
Frantz Casseus (1915-1993) (Haiti)
**I have those records somewhere.

I also LOVE classical piano. I inherited that from my father and one of his sisters.

Just a break. Please. He’s going into custody. He’s not old enough to buy a drink

Stop

He’ll pay the price.

Hatred on this site for people with money wll bury it. Mark my word

He was put into this at age 12. You think he can make good decisions?

Ijiut

I would add Julian Bream, Liona Boyd and Norbert Kraft to your list.

Just because people who write and perform modern music don't meet with your narrow and somewhat archaic idea of “talent” says more about your musical closed mindedness than it says anything at all about Bieber.

I've been playing (5+ instruments) and singing professionally for over 40 years and I still appreciate modern music and new talent. Those are all really talented artists on your list, but open your ears and give new music a try before you diss them out of hand, that's what I always do and it's why I love a huge, wide range of all kinds of music, old and new.

Beiber has incredible talent for someone his age and that's why he has millions already. This shouldn't be about his talent, that really shouldn't be in question here, because he's already proven that in spades. The issue here is his behavior which seems to be that of a spoiled, messed up 19 year old.
