Under what authority? The FAA doesn’t own the skies. Do I need their permission to fly a kite? An RC plane? A hobby rocket? why should someone have to ask the government for permission to do something this harmless?

I wonder how long it took for the FAA to approve of various government entities using drones to keep us in check. 5..., 10 seconds..., a full minute?
