“In politics, stupidity is not a handicap.”

However, hubris often is.

Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte made the first observation. The second belongs to me, a one-time investigator and auditor within government. Together, they capture the average law-abiding taxpayer’s general disgust at the hubris demonstrated by New Jersey governor Chris Christie and his subalterns in what has nationally become known as “Bridgegate.”

Conservatives should be ecstatic if Bridgegate kills Christie's chances of the GOP nomination in 2016.

I am never pleased to watch the media take down a Republican on a third-rate non-scandal while they ignore what is going on in the most corrupt administration I’ve witnessed. And yes, I was around for Nixon.

Well if it is the media that makes you they can take you out. Hello John McCain.

Notice to all conservatives they are not your friends and never will be.

It was interesting to me to see the difference between
republican and democrat in their response to
snowmagedden, the governor (Deal) and his Ga. Fema
head both were on the air apologizing and accepting
responsibiliy for the mistakes made...

Mayor Reed (D.Atlanta) basically said it wasn’t
any of him, so he didn’t apologize but cast aspersions
on others.

Seemed to me plain how the differnet partys deal with
adversity.

That’s if you consider him a Republican. To me, he always slaps down conservatives, and is nothing but a Democrat in Republican clothing. But, then again, as the GOP continues to pander to everyone but the conservative base, perhaps he is best suited for 2016.

Of course his scandals don’t compare to the Obama Regime. But it is sweet irony to see a “Republican” like Christie begin to feel the heat of the very same liberals that he is dying to court.

The media have been a branch of the Democrats since the 1960’s. And no matter how hard the Republicans try to put on a “human face” it is not going to help them with the media. And for conservatives, the GOP Establishment is as much an enemy as the media are.
