Ayers - American exceptionalism leaves us with a sense that we’re the center of the world. It seems to me like a fool’s errand. We’re so important and everyone should bow down? It’s a false construction. No truth to the history of slavery.

Education - catastrophic in this country. We’ve constructed it as a market. It’s a human right. What the most privileged have for their children, we as a community should have for our children.
