The interesting thing to ask is WHY are we being led by such an ugly assortment of the worst American (and Kenyan and Indonesian) society can produce ? “Shit rises to the top of the tank” is pertinent but doesn’t quite explain the problem. Ideally, we’d like our country to be led by its very best. The exact opposite of the current situation. What have we done wrong to reach this nadir in American politics?
