Sandra Fluke said shes strongly considering running for Henry Waxmans House seat after the longtime California Democrat announced he would retire from Congress this year.
Im flattered that Im being discussed as a potential candidate, Fluke told Southern California radio station KPCC Thursday. A number of folks I respect very deeply have reached out today and encouraged me to run. I am strongly considering running.

Curse me. I mention her in a previous post and viola. Now this. Knowing the wax-mans district (which I don't) she'd probably be able to win this laying down. Oh, did I actually type that?

I’m sure the idiots that elected Waxman will replace a flake with a Fluke.

Anyone who spends $3K on birth control should be kept away from all budget committees.
To: rktman
Gosh, I hope she does run for this seat. The seat shall then continue to be filled by an arrogant feminist with strong socialist tendencies and an unbridled sense of entitlement.
Sandra Fluke’s presence shall be a constant reminder in Congress why obnoxious children should be deliberately ignored by adults. It would be several years before she could even become a “ranking member” of ANY committee.

Can’t afford her own birth control but can afford a congressional campaign. Okay.

In other words, a bi-otch? A whiney one at that. “I need more condoms. Just in case.” When she “appeared” in Reno during the “lyin’ king’s” most recent campaign(notice I didn’t say “last” campaign) a crowd of about 12 showed up. And some of those only wandered over cause the local news trucks were there. But she’ll do just fine in wax-mans area or expertise. Whatever that is.

The idiots that kept notrilitis in there for almost half a century will surely elect this twit into office in a heartbeat.

Probably wants to be the next Pelosi and will probably use the same m.o. to rise to the top.

Several other FR threads on this.
It’s a slam dunk D win in November but she’s very much a long shot to be the D nominee.
Lots of other Cal progressives have been waiting their turn.

The law student from Georgetown who spent $3,000 per year on birth control, yet didn't know she could get her b/c pills from WalMart for $9.95/month, is going to run for Henry Waxman’s congressional seat? Priceless. She can run on the Free Condom Party platform.
