A police sketch that was publicly mocked for its resemblance to a Muppet actually helped nab a suspect earlier this week in Texas.
The drawing of the man was based on the description given to a forensic artist by two unidentified victims: a 77-year-old woman and her 57-year-old daughter, who were robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight.

He does kinda look like the sketch. If the eyes had of been a bit further apart and he put a beard on the sketch, it actually would have been fairly close.
To: cripplecreek
If I were him, I would have struck a deal with the police to turn myself in return for them agreeing to destroy all copies of that sketch.
To: posterchild
It doesn’t look anything like him.

Can't say it is that accurate of a likeness. He looks like a man. (as the saying goes).

Come on! A small narrow nose versus wide with large nostrils? A thin line of a mouth versus fat thick lips?
My thinking is they deliberately un-African-Americanized the drawing.
To: a fool in paradise
Isn’t that portrait a sufficient life sentence punishment?

Eyes, nose and lips don’t even come close...
I think the story is BS.

What kind of sketch “artist” draws human eyes like that?! Did the victims mention that they thought he might be an “illegal alien”, and the artist just went with “alien”?

the sketch ....
I dunno Ive long thought of myself as very visually acute perceptive type, and can see very little resemblance whatsoever between the drawing and the perp
perhaps its was drawn in shorthand!!
it looks like something joey biden might draw during an important meeting

I’d say his lips and how they’re drawn are the two extremes of the scale.

Cue that “DUMM-DUMM-DA-DUMM DUMM - MANANANA! DUMM-DUMM DA DUMM” theme song from the Muppets.
