You are avoiding the question.

You are also avoiding reality. Every single point in the ad is found in the so-called “republican principles.” This group is led by Haley Barbour.

And Haley is an outsider in the GOP. /sarc.

The reality is that our immigration system is broken. It needs fixing. Somewhere in there will be the fix we want. Thus far that ad shows a politically viable fix. We’re not going to deport children. It just won’t happen. The no compromise approach only works if you have the votes to win.

What the GOP or TEA party should do is come up with ads going directly to the heart of American, particularly black, unemployment. I’d start by asking why you can braid hair for free, but must go to cosmetology school, get a license and permit to braid for money. It’s a win-win opportunity for us.

We just have to no freak out at every step.

The only thing missing for me was an “English Only” for government bodies receiving federal funding provision. If non-profits or private organizations want to use another language or reach out to non-English speakers, fine, but not with taxpayer monies.
