I don't understand why we don't take advantage of a great opportunity here.

There is a gaping disconnect between union leadership and the rank and file. On issues like immigration reform, deregulation, energy, the EPA, health care and job creation to name just a few the rank and file are on our side.

Their leaders are leftists with an agenda detrimental to the rank and files current interests and well being and future prospects.

If the GOP was smart (I know...) they would be sowing discord if not total chaos between the rank and file and their treasonous leftist democrat leadership.

Years ago the Teamsters were solidly republican.

Why has the GOP failed to exploit this obvious opportunity?

Because they are fully owned by the Chamber of Commerce and big corporate and are more concerned with profits and crony access to tax money than anything else.

It the Tea Party ever breaks away, I hope they are smarter than the GOP and not abandon this field of battle with out a fight.

That speaks to how corrupt the union leaders are. The unions could really win back the American people if they stood up against immigration and the left wing agenda.
