Another poster made that comment.  Rather than put them down for saying it, I responded in a cordial manner.  This you took to be a massive insult to women, and extrapolated a number of highly personal things based on it.  You have been on insult over-drive ever since.  While I sit here smilling, stream is coming out of your ears.

At no point has it dawned on you what was proven by you doing so.  You played right into this guys hands.  I didn't agree with him.  Why did you have to go off the deep end convincing folks he may have had a reason for saying what he did?

No, you went balistic over it.  Be honest with yourself.  And when you did that, you really didn't have a clue how that would fit into the unfortunate narative that was playing out.  If you hadn't done what you did, his comments would have fallen on deaf ears.
