Of possible interest to the freepers that have commented on United’s plans, I received the above updated email from United Airlines early this morning.
(Personal note to all: As some of you know, we vacation in Vegas. It is a great location to see the Western part of the US: Death Valley Nat. Park, Zion Nat. Park, Grand Canyon Nat. Park, Disneyland Calf., and of course Las Vegas and surrounding area.)
The news reports say that a billion dollars has been spent on airport upgrades. It's amazing they did that without better assurances from United. I'm wondering if the city leadership doesn't already have some options that might fill the gap. (I'm one of those people who think that Frank Jackson has done as well as anyone could as mayor, and won't leave this alone)
