The Green group in the European Parliament has nominated whistleblower Edward Snowden for the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, on the last day before a deadline for nomination expires tomorrow (1 February).
The Green/EFA group said that the world had discovered in 2013 “the face of a young man, who had overnight become an icon of state treason for some and a heroic defender of the most basic freedoms for many more.”
According to the Greens, Snowden’s revelations on US secret services tapping the internet, phone calls and other communications data shed light on the largest and most systematic privacy violations the “free world” has seen in decades. …

After all - Obama claims he has become really good at killing people with drones.
Snowden claims he is just trying to rein in an out of control Police State.
I think they are both telling the truth.

This is just theatre.
I don’t know if Snowden is knowingly or unwittingly working on behalf of anyone, or, more importantly, who.
Despite that, the info he published revealed the new world order police state.
IMHO, the only logical thing to do is just take the info for what it is and not assume anything about Snowden.
It’s helpful to keep in mind that OTHER long-time, very senior NSA officials have the same concerns about the overreach of espionage services, the five eyes nations in particular.
It's payback, because they did the reverse with Obama /S.

Give him the prize and let him hang it in his jail cell and stare at it the rest of his life.

I pray he wins and emporer obama can do nothing about it. Kudos to russia, the rising center of Christianity in this evil world, for taking him in.
I don’t care if Snowden may have been working for Putin’s security service or not, the man is a hero to my eyes. The Peace Prize was forever diminished by the award to BHO.
Snowden has done more than Obama.
