Two decades ago when a proposed affordable health care program was called “HillaryCare” the same sticker shock occurred.
When the Clintons were challenged by a small businessman over the higher costs their, the Clintons’, response was “Just raise your prices to cover your increased costs”.
The look on their faces when the businessman said no one would buy his pizzas if he raised the prices to cover the new health care costs was priceless.
In the 1990s as today politicians who never had to make a payroll or balance costs to produce verses a sellable price don’t understand there is a price above which your sales drop off, some times drastically.
But then, haven’t we seen that for the last couple years with the Republic’s economy?
This is healthcare from their employer, the premiums mentioned are the employees’ share? Wow this is bad, under the law his business is too small to require coverage.
I told several friends nearly a year and 1/2 ago that the roof would have to fall in before people realy began to wake up.
It's beginning to fall.
Guaranteed most angry democrats are just mad that it [aca] didn’t go far enough. Someone else is suppose to pay for it. They will vote for the next marxist to fix it and the cycle will continue. People who were dumb enough to vote for obama once are dumb enough to keep voting for people like him.
