“When you blow a golden opportunity once you should step down and not get in the way next time.”
It is extremely lucky that President Ronald Reagan did not have your attitude. If that were the case he would never have been elected. He ran for the republicans nomination and did not win that nomination until his third try.
Nice point.
Maybe Buck CAN learn from his mistakes.
Dems may not be pushovers in November but they will sure as heck be easier to beat with pure-dem nobamacare hung around their necks.

I caught him on Meet The Press and the guy is an idiot. He got asked something like, “what do you want to do with your life?” and his answer was to play more golf. Bennett said something sincere and earnest sounding like improve humanity.
Maybe Buck was making a joke but that was not the time or place.
Ronald Reagan never blew a general election that was in the bag; but had he somehow managed to lose to Jimmy Freaking Carter in 1980 ... yeah, maybe he should have thought twice before running again.
(As for President Reagan winning in his “third try,” come on now! His name was floated as a dark-horse candidate in the 1968 RNC, but he didn’t run in primaries or anything; the first time he actually *ran* for president was in 1976 against Ford.)
Sure glad Abe Lincoln didn’t listen to similar sage advice.
“He ran for the republicans nomination and did not win that nomination until his third try.” He mae a good run for it and as such deserved it. Buck did not and does not. He blew
a golden oppurtunity that should of been won.
