On Thursday, MSNBC President Phil Griffin apologized for a Twitter post suggesting conservatives (the rightwing) are racists who would hate a cute new Cheerios ad because it featured a biracial family: The tweet last night was outrageous and unacceptable. We immediately acknowledged that it was offensive and wrong, apologized, and deleted it. We have dismissed the person responsible for the tweet.
Griffins statement was a good first step, but if an apology is owed for this tweet, then MSNBC owes conservatives many, many more. The Media Research Center has compiled a long list of instances in which the networks anchors have committed character assassination disguised as journalism, unjustly smearing conservatives, Republicans and the Tea Party as racists. Here are just some of the many outrageous examples we have documented:

Comcast: ideology over profits!
Also the ad was about a cute little girl and puppies. Two things conservatives just hate.
And Smirky McSmirkface has the gall to get upset when called a ‘cheerleader’ for Obama....
What’s that guys name- Rachel Madcow? What a funny name for a guy.
I don’t understand why Comcast (Owner of NBC/MSNBC)continues to allow a Network with such miserable ratings to continue its’ programming and ideological left attitude. Don’t they care about advertising dollars and viewership?
We don’t have Comcast here, thank God
No it wasn’t and you know it
The “fixed” version still slimed conservatives of course.
I don’t watch pmsnbc or nbc, abc, cbs, cnn
The ad I saw, the daddy uses cheerios to represent the mommy, the daddy, and the little girl. Then he moves a forth cheerio to represent the new baby that’s on the way. Then the little girl moves another cheerio and says “And a new puppy” and looks at the daddy significantly.
Why can’t anybody just come out and say it:
The direct reason MSNBC exists is to aid and assist Democrats. MSNBC is designed as the answer to Rush Limbaugh and FOX Mews.
The idea that MSNBC “accidently” crossed the line here or in other cases is absurd. Either MSNBC has become too sloppy and publicly simply revealed what lies at the core of their internal mission, or MSNBC simply thought that the time was now right to reveal what they are truly all about.
They just need a place to hide the malcontents stuck on contract. Think of MSNBC as their network trashcan.
Yeah, that is the one I saw too, but I don’t think he was talking about a puppy. The way I understood was he and his wife were going to adopt a Chinese baby
Oh, I missed the adoption angle, I assumed the mom was pregnant. Are there more then one of these things running?
Here’s the ad I saw. Nothing about adoption, Chinese or otherwise in this one:
