Aunt Polly’s “okay to carry” policy saved one driver’s life, a few years back:

There have been other food delivery guys murdered over the years. These people are very vulnerable to assault. They get called to any old place, they carry cash (not a lot, but some people are crazy). My daughter wanted to do this when she was in HS, but I wouldn’t let her.
In Indy the perps are most certainly urban thugs.
Just common sense, IMO — there’s no way I’d do that without carrying. Getting dead over a large supreme and a $20 change fund is unacceptable.
Good for that business to allow carry
Contrary to what Business Socialists say, and those BSoc here on FR, no business has the right to deny your Second Amendment rights while working for them...especially if it requires handling money. Folks get killed when businesses deny 2d Amendment rights
But how can this be? According to all democrats, most republicans and of course president dog turd if you're disarmed it's good for you. Their talking point being the more helpless you are the safer you are.
bump for later.
“Some of those steps including making sure drivers lock their doors, carry no more than $20 cash at a time, and have a valid call-back number to call customers and confirm the order.”
What about a whistle that you can blow real loudly when someone is about to shoot you?
BTW, a driver should ALWAYS carry legally if they think they will ever be fearful for their life making a delivery.
Far better to be fired from a crappy pizza delivery job for violating some stupid anti-self-defense rule established by a corporate czar in a high tower surrounded by armed bodyguards than being permanently fired from your life by a lowlife killer.
