Mayor de Blasio said Monday that he’d move forward with closing schools for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, two Muslim holy days, and for Lunar New Year. But he was hesitant regarding Hindu festival Diwali.

So why ask for welfare for your culture? We may not likes Muslims culture, but they believe in it. Christians, Jews, U.S. citizens don't believe in their culture, and don't care to perpetuate it with children. How is welfare for Christians, Jews, U.S. going to save them?
(I should not Muslim birth rate has declined sharply. But it's still enough higher than U.S. and Mexicans. But Muslims actually believe in their culture.)

This is why it is time to get government out of education. When parents get to choose the school they want for their kids, these ridiculous arguments over control will end.
