Then why did they not put term limits in the constitution ?
That’s easy to answer.
Our Founders were counting on a populace of God-Fearing, Moral and Educated People to understand the RESPONSIBILITY laid at their feet by God Almighty to be forever VIGILANT of their FREEDOM.
