I remember once upon a time someone sold an electric guitar with a built-in wireless transmitter, so this is at least plausible...

Um, you still have to plug the wireless transmitter into the ax’s output jack. This is pretty basic.
Mili Vanilli got whacked for plagiarism. Not for faking performances of their songs.
That said, no one has listened to RHCP since the mid 90s.

I have not watched a SB 1/2 time show in probably 20 years (except the one I went to in 2000).
I used to turn on the Puppy Bowl but that got boring years ago as well.
Now I just shut off the TV. This year I didn’t turn it back on when I saw the score click over on nfl.com right after the 1/2.
Mr. C4E is a professional bass player...I do know about wireless transmitters...I made the statement as sort of a joke. Guess it wasn’t so humorous. :-)
We live in a land of passive spectators demanding perfect entertainments, who are unexpectedly getting a lesson in, “If you want something done right, you need do it yourself.”
I go outside and smoke a cigar with the buddies every year now during the show.
