Congressional Budget Office sends death blow to ObamaCare
The New York Post ^ | February 5, 2014 | John Podhoretz

The Affordable Care Act, a k a ObamaCare, became law almost four years ago. It became operational last Oct. 1. Yesterday, Feb. 4, 2014, the ACA may well have been dealt its death blow.

The Congressional Budget Office released a major study of the government’s budget and its effect on the overall economy over the next 10 years. In dull bureaucratic language, it delivers a devastating analysis of the inefficiencies, ineffectualities and problematic social costs of ObamaCare.

The one-two punch: Virtually as many Americans will lack health coverage in 10 years as before the law was passed — but 2 million fewer will be working than if the law hadn’t passed.

One killer detail comes on Page 111, where the report projects: “As a result of the ACA, between 6 million and 7 million fewer people will have employment-based insurance coverage each year from 2016 through 2024 than would be the case in the absence of the ACA.”(continued)

Every Demonrat Congressman and Senator should be required to wear a copy of this damning report about Traitorobamacare around their neck for the rest of their hell-spawned lives.

I'll buy that scenario when I see Obamacare buried at the crossroads with a stake through its evil heart.

It might well be dead, but it will probably still be able to stand upright and walk, zombie-like, wreaking havoc wherever it goes.

They passed it. Now they are finding out what’s in it.

I don’t think they can put the evil job destroying Genie back in the bottle. The health care system and our economy are doomed.

Ted Cruz stood on his feet for 24 hours trying to stop this catastrophe and he was ridiculed by both parties. Anyone who failed to stand with Ted Criz owns this monstrosity.

If you like your unemployment you get to keep it.

Ah yes, but now the American worker can be just as lazy as the Greek “worker”, laying about and smoking dope while waiting for his next welfare check from the broke nanny government. After all, he doesn’t have to work to get health coverage now.

This is the goal of Obama’s “transformation” of America.

Not a death blow, maybe, but surely a bloody nose and a cut over the eye.

But we can work on that bloody nose and cut on the forehead to good advantage, at least putting it on the ropes and scoring points in the next couple rounds, before the KO is delivered.

To hell with the Queensbury rules. Go right for the kidneys and just behind the ears.

Death blow?

Nonsense.

It is "Mission Accomplished".

You are right because the Republicans won’t call Obama out on ObamaCare. The Republicans have been handed an issue bigger than Watergate bigger than Carter’s failures, closer in fact to the collapse of the economy in 1929-1930 and they almost refuse to recognize it. The Rats are always bringing out people who have suffered from Republicans-there are millions suffering from ObamaCare-how about ads featuring the suffering of individual people from the Rat sponsored Obama care

Never fear!

Loyal Obamacrats Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, McConnell, Cornyn, and McCain will come to Obama’s side and rescue Obamacare with the bandaid called RINOcare!

Always eager to fail, the RINOs find that rescuing the already failed Obamacare is just to tempting a guaranteed failure to pass up.

Unfortunately as we’ve already seen, the liberal response is just the opposite and they see a windfall for Obamacare where people can choose to work less and still get healthcare and employers are allowed to let folks work less to save them money.

As for the massive cost increases.. nothing another mandatory tax won’t fix.

I’d prefer to see a massive civil unrest in DC where we bring in the 2 million bikers, Veterans, as many truckers as possible, a Glen Beck Rally, Sarah Palin Rally, Rush Limbaugh Rally all at the same time and where retired Army General Paul Vallely elected leader of the regime change.

Does it even factor in the addition of 10 to 20 million low-wage amnesty recipients?
