Boehner, undeterred, moves forward on immigration
Breitbart ^ | 2/4/14 | JONATHAN STRONG

Speaker John Boehner isn't ready to let the dream die.

On Tuesday, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell told reporters immigration is just not in the cards in 2014. Last Thursday, rank-and-file House members sent a loud message at that President Obama is not the partner for legislation, spooking even top proponent Paul Ryan.

The editors from National Review, Weekly Standard, and numerous other top conservative pundits have urged the Ohio Republican to cut it out.

However, since the GOP retreat last week, Boehner has just kept marching along.

“I think leadership's focus and my focus is to get [immigration] done as early as possible,” said Rep. Jeff Denham of California, who Boehner recently met with on the issue.

“It's part of our conference agenda right now. It doesn't go on the agenda without scheduling bills and scheduling time on the floor,” Denham added.

I would recommend to read the article because at the end Lindsey Graham once proves why he is the worst GOP senator.

Boehner is about smart enough to go skipping around in the middle of a mine field.

What a MORON.

I hope this backfires on him big-time. This fool and traitor refuses to face the unintended consequences of any form of AMNESTY.

Keep an eye on Gowdy.

The real push to cram this down will start when the amnesty pimps launch a flank attack on conservatives from the religious community. A lot of church groups support amnesty but they have been in the background lately. That will change soon.

Traitors. All of them. Hundreds of years ago you would have only heard snapping of necks and bodies swaying back and forth on ropes for hours before it stopped.

Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn is right along side of Graham on this.

Loyal Obamacrats Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, McConnell, Cornyn, and McCain will come to Obama’s side and rescue the highly unpopular “Obama Amnesty for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico” with the even more unpopular “RINO Amnesty for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico.

Always eager to fail, the RINOs find that rescuing the already failed Obama Amnesty Plan is just to tempting a guaranteed failure to pass up.

Boehner’s support will guarantee that no RINOs will ever again receive any Latino votes.

I suspect Reid is pressuring McCain, he calls Linda and Linda puts the pressure on BoneHead.
McCain needs the illegal votes if him or is wife are going to stay in power in AZ.

Ryan, meanwhile, confirmed Tuesday that he had met secretly with top Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer on immigration but dismissed the importance of the session, which he said occurred last year.

Getting ready to stab someone in the back. I suppose it gets easier the second time.The first time it was an “interverant mistake that will be corrected later” which was later found to be a lie, now it is just a back stab.

An open letter to the GOP Members of the House

As a Representative in Congress, you took this Oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

"Support and defend the Constitution" it says. Did you see that? That document requires, per Art.4, S.4, that

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

An invasion is what we are suffering. That invasion has accelerated with each "comprehensive immigration reform" previously enacted. Instead of another disastrous reform that yet again increases the incentives for millions more to try their luck crossing the southern border, a Representative who took his Oath and the Constitution seriously would be pressing for what the American people have repeatedly said they want - not what Senator Schumer, Zuckerberg, Mexico, some border state farmers and homebuilders or the Chamber of Commerce rent-seekers want. That is:
  1. secure the border in a transparently verifiable way;
  2. end the anchor-baby interpretation of the 14th Amendment;
  3. enforce eVerify without exception and with severe penalties;
  4. no government benefits beyond critical emergency care (and that ought to be billed back to the Mexican government); and
  5. NO "Path to Citizenship" - ever - for anyone who has entered the US illegally.
Any bill that does not accomplish these five things is unacceptable. It is de facto amnesty. And it will inevitably encourage millions more illegal entries.

If the GOP is complicit in this amnesty fiasco, either by taking up the Senate bill or through some piecemeal slight of hand with a series of House bills such as we hear are being cooked up this week, the GOP will cease to exist. It will not survive through the 2016 elections. The people will shun the over-tanned, glad-handing, backslapping quislings and look elsewhere for leaders who actually have the spine for the fight. Make no mistake - to me and to many, many others, amnesty is the GOP's Rubicon. Cross it at your electoral peril.
