Sheila Jackson Lee: ‘We’ll give President Obama a number of executive orders’ to sign

While President Obama tries to usurp Congress’ authority by passing legislation via executive fiat, at least eight members of Congress are offering to help him along with the scheme.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, recently announced the formation of the Congressional Full Employment Caucus, saying its members would “give President Obama a number of executive orders that he can sign,” according to CNS News.

“We will be answering the call of all of America because people need work, and we’re not doing right by them by creating work,” Lee said in a Jan. 29 speech at a gathering of Democratic lawmakers. “I believe this caucus will put us on the right path, and we’ll give President Obama a number of executive orders that he can sign with pride and strength.”

Apparently, despite her 19 years in Congress, Lee has yet to learn that the only work she can create is in her own office. Nonetheless, she plowed ahead.

“In fact, I think that should be our No. 1 agenda,” she said. “Let’s write up these executive orders — draft them, of course — and ask the president to stand with us on full employment.”

Watch her speech via MRC-TV:

The Congressional Full Employment Caucus was launched last week by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich. Other members are: Reps. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla.; Charles Rangel, D-N.Y.; Maxine Waters, D-Calif.; Barbara Lee, D-Calif.; José Serrano, D-N.Y.; and Mike Quigley, D-Ill.

CNS reported:

"Executive orders issued by a president have the full force of law and do not have to receive approval by the legislative branch of government. During his State of The Union address last week, President Obama made clear he was willing to use executive actions to sidestep Congress."

The caucus members are willingly abdicating their own authority to propose and pass laws, destroying the principles of separation and balance of power America’s republic is based on.

Well maybe I will be be able to give it a rest when it gets the best of me and I get tempted to rest on the tracks when I hear an oncoming train. At least then you won’t have to worry about me spreading it to you.

“We will be answering the call of all of America because people need work, and we’re not doing right by them by creating work.”

Now, what the hell does that mean?

Apparently they’re advocating for hiring illiterates.

Sometimes even an idiot can be useful.

SJL has leaked the Lyin King’s move before.

When she stops talking, maybe we should worry.

And I will bet dollars to doughnut holes that Obozo will sign them.

Obama will WRITE them, send them to Jackson-Lee to put her name on them and then he will sign them.

"But, I'm only doing the will of the People, as relayed by Rep. Jackson-Lee."

Her constituents are dumb as rocks, too.

There ya go.

I find it more difficult to blame "the pols" everyday.

I already know that power corrupts. People (or the peeps) who keep reelecting them are far more to blame.

Congress has become a cipher.

That’s the real source of our problems. And, the solution is in our hands, if we have not become too weak to use it.

Has this been going on for a while? Has some staffer in the House been writing 0bama’s EO’s for him?

“Methinks this low-IQ grandee does not know how the US Federal government is supposed to work.”

It could be that she knows how it actually is working.

Good question. Where did Rerun come up with the idea the EO’s are ‘given’ to Preezy to sign.

I think it’s funny that she, by implication of this statement, thinks that she and the president are on equal footing.

I’m SURE he thinks that too... not.

Well, they are both ‘black’ and that trumps all (apparently). If I were black, that would be so insulting to me. It fascinates me that a group so mired in past atrocities of slavery is simultaneously engrossed in the practice of enslaving those who share their skin color by way of suppressing their individuality. If you're not in lockstep with your brothers and sisters, you're an Uncle Tom.

Remember, the slave doesn’t dream of being free,
the slave dreams of enslaving his oppressors.

That’s it in a nutshell. “Down for the struggle” just means doing everything necessary to enslave YT.

Good point. Seems to me the concept of ‘useful idiots’ is wasted on them.
