That’s no joke, either. I looked up the CDC’s numbers on STD’s a while back. Gay and Bi men account for nearly 70% of all new HIV and syphilis infections in the U.S.

Even if one buys into the gay community really being 10% of the population (which I do not), gay men would still only be 2 or 3 percent of the population. Meaning 3 percent of the population (at most) account for more than 2/3’s of the cases of the two most serious STD’s, in a country of 300+ million people. That’s staggering.
