Based on her history is there any reason, any reason at all to believe she is telling the truth? Seems to me that’s a “no” maybe even a resounding no. This just makes her look desperate. Granted,, it's hypocrisy on her part, but what about all those republicans "conservatives" in Texas who still prohibit open carry? The Pubs have had control of the state house, senate, and governorship for years, yet such idiotic laws stay on the books.
Why the hell can't Texas get Constitutional Carry?
The answer is simple. Democrats know they can't get elected to statewide office here, so they run as republicans. Granted, even democrats in Texas are more conservative in most ways to northeastern republicans, but they still want to control your lives. It will be a 'republican' that gives Texas a state income tax, if they ever manage such a thing. They try periodically. Fortuately such crap is off the table during election years because even socialists know it's a non-starter with the electorate.
