Cars are not yet trackable as far as mileage is concerned. They can track where you have been if you pass an officer with a computer in his car, if your state has computer chips embedded in the registration tab, but the daily mileage, no.

They wanted to make insurers require a device that would track your mileage and some insurers seem to be offering a plan that would lower your insurance if you can prove you drive less than 10,000 miles per year, which would require such a device. You don’t need it for an occasional use policy though. You can get a policy that you only pay for when you use your vehicle. You just have to call and leave a message that you are going to be using a particular vehicle for a few days.

You don’t think those double-long, tall wide trucks should be banned? You can’t see around them or over them. Besides which I can’t imagine their weight isn’t damaging to bridges and road surfaces.

Probably a significant amount; however, trucks are the primary mode of delivery for goods in this country, and even if they do, that is no reason to overly tax the trucking industry.

I understand how you feel; my wife feels the same way, and trucks DO account for much of the road damage. But I believe the govey simply finds another industry to tax, and perhaps supported emotionally by a large segment of society, for its own nefarious purposes.

We must look closely to determine the actual purpose.

This does it! if the RINOs are still considering it.
Come election day, I am writing in Vladimir Putin!

Do I care if the country is destroyed completely?
Sure.

But it doesn't matter to me if the communist/progressive/Deomocratic party does it, or the RINO party does it. Makes not an iota of difference!
