WASHINGTON -- Former Eagles linebacker Garry Cobb will run for Congress in South Jersey, seeking the seat soon to be vacated by U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews (D., N.J.), according to a report on WHYY's Web site Newsworks.
Camden County Republican Chairman Thomas Booth told the site that Cobb plans to run.

Whatever, Cobb is just padding his resume and abusing campaign donors’ money for a self-centered publicity tour to further his media career.
There is no way in heck the Norcross machine isn’t going to win this election.

Interesting. But as JerseyHighlander says, rat Donald Norcross in likely to walk to victory in the primary and general election for this heavily rat seat.

That district is too Democrat for us to win. A big part of it is due to the black vote around Camden, but Cobb would need to get a majority of the black vote (not gonna happen, even against a white Democrat) to be able to make up for the Democrat lean of the CD’s white voters.
