Cold One's over in Idaho, I'm in Montana and while 30 below isn't standard, preparation for winter means gettin' ready for maybe FIFTY below. (That's when you see folks building wood fires under their oil pans if they didn't have the block heater plugged in...)

...if you want to see some of that sort of cold, I'll take you out of the Montana Banana Belt and run you up around Wolf Point or anywhere along US Hwy 2 (aka The Highline) east of there to Minnesota.

FIL always claimed that the only difference between driving the Highline in the winter and running around on the Moon was that you didn't have to stop in Williston for oxygen.
