My only regret is that the upper 1% are not earning even more. They are producing wealth most of them work quite hard. They are not stealing from me. Nor are they feudal lords, old-South slave holders, or other labor demand monopolists.Hard workers like George Soros, Jon Corzine, Lloyd Blankfein, and the men behind Solyndra?

And that is a damned good point. There has to be some way of differentiating those (like the names you bring up) that do nothing to add value/wealth to society and the greater number of less-well known 1%'ers (okay, maybe they're the 3%'ers) that do create wealth through production.
It's a good case of the few well known bad apples, poising it for everyone else.

The rich can be hard working but dishonest. But we can deal with the dishonest under the criminal and civil law. My point is that the upper 1% are not stealing just because they are in the upper 1%. As for Soros, he has as much right to fund his causes as I do, even though they are wrong.
