ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) is calling on the Russian government to allow Chobani Greek yogurt to be delivered to Sochi for U.S. Olympic athletes and NBC Studios employees.
Schumer said Tuesday that a shipment of Chobani yogurt is being held up at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey because of "unattainable" Russian Customs certifications.

Well, duh, American officials. You should know to send the food via another country. Or so hubby says.
Vlad is concerned about it attracting bears.....
Isn’t I made in his state, or they are big campaign donors?
Well in defense of smuckie he does resemble plain yogurt....bland, tastless and full of bacterium.
BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Dude what about YOPLAIT Vlady
that only 90 calories
Isn’t this that part of Russia where people lived to be 137 by eating yogurt?
It just felt that way.
Yogurt is a culture, something that is lacking in Chukie.
Yep, Chobani is made in upstate NY.
Schumer has been a big promoter of Chobani yogurt:

But a quick look at campaign contributions didn’t show that Hamdi Ulukaya (the founder of Chobani) made any sizable (IOW reportable) contributions to Schumer’s campaign coffers.
And all of them bad. This is like giving a squeak toy to a dog that would otherwise be chewing up your shoes or peeing on your bed.
Wasn’t Chobani recalling it’s yogurt because it was moldy?
great stuff Im fond of the blueberry
I won’t buy that any more.
Schmucky is yucky.
This is none of Schumer’s business. It’s between Putin and Fatso in NY.
They recalled a lot of it a while back.
Niet gay greek yogurt in RUZYAH
Some reset button, eh.
Did any of his Ulukaya's employees? You know, from their mystery bonus that appeared in their paychecks. Sorry, but I don't believe for one moment Upchuck cares about yogurt or Olympic athletes.
Since UpChuckie is involved, I’m going with the Russkies on this.
