They access healthcare services by van (very expensive to transport) or soon by telemedicine (inexpensive). Some of the larger prisons with thousands of inmates have their own staffed hospitals.

By law an inmate is not supposed to get substandard care, so they should be pretty upset getting stuck with obamacare.

California has been doing this for a long time. I worked in a prison hospital for 11 years.

You are correct sir. We were ALWAYS disgusted, because we felt the inmates got the best healthcare money could buy, certainly better than we were getting. Going to Obamacare, surely is a step down for them. The inmates will sue the state, claiming substandard care, and I can absolutely guarantee they will win. I do not think there is any medical type lawsuit, that they have not won. We had myriads of different procedures, the majority of which, were brought on by lawsuits.
