The demographics are in place, so that in about 20 years, whites will be a minority in America.
White men specifically are already a minority in many places, as noted here.
Is it really racist that there are some fields in which white men are found in bigger proportions?
Is is racist that most of the NBA players are black?
Is it sexist that most nurses are women?
Liberals tend to look at these situations and find discrimination. My thought is that after decades of affirmative action programs, and non-discrimination laws, is discrimination really still happening?

In the latter case, the situation is accepted for two reasons - because the minority are overrepresented and the distinction is based on physical ability.
The former case is "unacceptable" to the left because the minority is underrepresented, and the discriminating factor is more intellectual in nature.
