I have no problem with North Korea developing whatever weapons program they want.

If this seems preposterous, keep in mind that my governing principles are sound. The U.S. government has no right to dictate terms to North Korea (or anyone else) about weapons programs for the same reason I believe the U.S. government has no right to take my next-door neighbor's guns away from him. North Korea is a sovereign nation, and I don't see how I could possibly believe that the same U.S. government that I consider to be intrusive, overbearing and meddlesome here at home has any right to impose mandates on anyone else around the world.

if not one single sovereign nation should be told what kind of weapons they can construct or buy, then neither should our U.S. administration tell Israel what portion of their own land they can or cannot occupy.

Israel is a sovereign nation !
