Obama Democrats’ troubling view on work
NY Post ^ | 2/09/14 | Michael Goodwin

**SNIP**

My, oh, my, how times have changed. America now has a government that views work as a trap and celebrates those who escape it.

That is the upshot of last week’s remarkable exchange over ObamaCare. It began when the head of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office reported that the interplay of taxes and subsidies in the law “creates a disincentive for people to work.” The report predicted the mix would lead to fewer hours worked, costing the equivalent of nearly 2.5 million jobs.

In response, President Obama’s spokesman pleaded guilty — with pride and pleasure.

Less work = less stuff. And we go down the socialist spiral where we end up in line for non-existant toilet paper.

Vote-crazed Democrats lauded the recent CBO bombshell report---that poor Americans will opt to work less and get paid less so that their Obamacare is free or near free w/ subsidies---lauded as a "positive" that gives Americans "options."

REALITY CHECK This is a Prog's twisted version of capitalism-----they call it being "economically incentivized! ” ROTFLOL.

===============================================

Looks like The Madoff Playbook is required reading in the Boobamba WH teaming w/ Chicago criminals. Remember when Sen Mike Enzi (R-Wyo) reported that the Boobamba con artists were planning to "aggregate the numbers" so employers could not evade Boobamba/Care law by having fewer employees?

"Aggregating The Numbers"----a con artist phrase if there ever was one. Like something Madoff told his investors as he was setting up tax-evading secret offshore accounts......money-laundering and wire-transferring stolen money into a labyrinth of assorted crooked entities.

==============================================

THE HEALTHCARE CON GAME UP CLOSE E-v-e-r-y lock-stepping Democrat voted for O/Care in a straight party-line vote--- nationalizing 1/6th of the US Economy into a Democrat Cash Cow. ALL the untraceable O/Care money from enrollments, fines, penalties, taxes, fees, and asset confiscation (from Medicaid users) goes to your "reliable, trustworthy government."

"LETS MAKE A DEAL, DEMOCRATS." Vote aye now.
When the zillions start rolling in, you get a piece of the action.

=========================================

A BLUNDER OF CEAUSESCUIAN PROPORTIONS Remember then-Majority leader Pelosi saying they must pass the O-care bill so they can find out what’s in it? That was then. This is now........they are saying we must wait another decade or two more for its goodness to rollout.

It seems to me that we who have jobs, pay taxes and are now paying for the higher rates and deductibles for Obamacare-compliant insurance plans are paying at least twice for those who are getting free or subsidized Obamacare insurance.

Once with the higher premiums and much higher deductibles, and again with higher taxes necessitated by Obamacare.

But I’m never going to back off the primary reason Obamacare needs to be shot and killed. American citizens should never be required to buy health insurance. Never,

The White House response is straight out of Karl Marx.

Karl Marx’s believed that industrialists create “surplus value” using the labor of workers and then reserve that value for their own enrichment. The workers receive nothing more than subsistence while the capitalist builds a massive fortune. Marx stated that removing the capitalists would allow the workers to appropriate the surplus value created by their own labor for themselves and thus gain a combination of greater income and leisure.

Straight Marxism.

8 years ago I attended a week long workshop in metals held at a fine arts enclave located several miles from the main campus of a university. I have learned to work in silver.

We were given a tour. The head of the glass studio asked at the first words he uttered...... “What’s the difference between a large Domino’s pepperoni pizza and a glass artist?”

“The pizza can feed a family of four.”

But I digress.
Each evening the various work shop heads made presentations and had extensive presentations of their work
The wood work shop was hosted by the out going resident artist in the wood work studio. She showed the pictures and some showed beautiful work in furniture and boxes I think. Most was devoted to her calling however. Her calling and reason for being was to express the dialogue between lines and dots.
She would make door frames and window facing and all sorts of architectural fenestration from wood that received a wash of tempera paint onto which she took an HB pencil and made a dot from which a line extended. The dots were more or less uniform but the lines mostly at right angles were of various lengths. This meticulously applied pencil work was a dialogue between lines and dots.

She was very upset and complained through the whole presentation. She had to leave the security of the wood studio where she had dwelled for about 8 years. She came as a freshman Fine Arts Major, spent 2 more years getting a Masters of Fine arts and then was granted 2 more years as Artist in Residence, Wood Working Studio. At 26 she was kicked out into the hard cold world. She was wonderfully talented and made beautiful stuff. She was hung up as an artist however.....lines and dots.

It was realized that she had to make a living and the solution proposed was a production item. That is artist code for something you make over and over rather than just one at a time. The buzz is “do you have a production item”.

Well she developed one. Mirror Frames that were about 3 “ wide painted in the yellow milk tempera and containing the wonderful hand applied dialogue with lines and dots. So all was well. She had the production item and sold one.

OOps.....there was a problem. It had to be shipped. She could find no box the right size to ship the frame in. Turns out to get a box or boxes, the frames had to be dimensionally fabricated to a size determined by the box manufacturer. Time for crying...... literally. Her whole artistic world came crashing down.

The box maker destroyed her artistic freedom and thus her integrity and thus her being.

The story had no end. Her final days at the school including the summer workshop gig granted in total pity was at an end. She had no job. She had no prospects. The wonderful production item was distasteful because of the loss of artistic freedom and integrity.
I don’t know what happened but know that she at 26 thought the world was nearing an end

She is now 34........ she can dialogue with lines and dots till the cows come home and have health insurance. Salvation

America used to be the Land of the Free. Now we’re just the land of the freebie.

You’re right — eventually the well will run dry. You can’t have something for nothing.

Troubling? I think there’s a few hundred more appropriate words to describe the Demonic Party’s “view” on work.

“The wonderful production item was distasteful because of the loss of artistic freedom and integrity.”

*********
It appears that a lot of artistic types have an air of superiority about them. Being special in their unique talents, they only create and won’t step down into the mundane, pedestrian and laborious world of production. They abhor having to face the constraints and compromises that the rest of us routinely aceept as a condition of dealing with the daily challenges of life.

(BTW, you’re writing is very good. Thanks for sharing this relevant story. Regards.)

I simply cannot take it anymore. Good, let these lazy bums with 12 kids from all different sperm donors stay home—give them health insurance, welfare, food stamps, housing subsidies. Never mind million of dollars in lost taxes cause they are not working and guess who is paying for all of this shit. My Mom is 93 and worked her entire life and I have to fight for every medical benefit she gets. Yet, these bastards walk in this country and get everything for nothing. In NJ, the Gov. wants to give illegals in=state tuition. Well, I paid full price for my American citizen daughters to go to college. Time for a TOTAL REVOLUTION in this country starting TODAY!!!

The problem is Republicans.

Republicans are not supporting American jobs.

Republicans are not opposing Democrats. Republicans, get with America.

Bring back American jobs. Join the American side.

Stop selling America, to China. China now exports more than America.

China is still growing. America is not.

“Those that will not learn or do not learn from History are bound to repeat it.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All we need to do is look at the housing provided to the idle poor. Disastrous areas. Unsafe and broken, trashed quickly for what is the expected life time of good housing. We have seen it over and over.
Do we want a world of such behavior?
NO! NEVER!
The strength of America was/is a worker is able to benefit from their income and many had the desire to benefit from their own labors in a positive way.
God help America, for Jesus sake, Amen.
“I have great news! You’re going to have an extra 40 hours of leisure time every week!” said no boss while laying off a worker, ever.
