The worst of all cover-ups was the murder of JFK. And the Benghazi cover-up is being doen for the same reason ... someone finally realized what really happened and and said, ‘Oh crap, the government is arming our terrorist enemies, we can’t let that be known ‘cause we wouldn’t win another election for twenty-five years!’

Given the lack of distinction between the Democrat and Republican parties, I have to wonder if this would truly be that devastating to the FedGov/PTB.

Good point. In the Kennedy cover-up close associates of Nixon and Johnson were implicated, eventually. And the first Bush president was connected to some of the principles, also.
