What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

Looks like these people are working themselves up to another Ruby Ridge or another Waco.
Since the Founding Fathers were on the side of the American people, I’d have to say this is further proof that the Second Amendment has nothing to do with the National Guard “militia”.
Conservatives should start demanding to know where every politician stands.
Do they support all Americans, or only those that support the wishes of the Left? At what point have they determined will it best to start shooting or imprisoning the dissenters?
It would be too politically incorrect to say it was Muslims, even though Muslims commit 99.99% of the terrorist acts in the world.
Crazy Alex has been bleating about this....
The sad thing is that he used to sound crazy as a hatter and seems more sane each day...
And that scares the living hell out of me...
Ping.
I really think that if the govt. fks with the Second Amendment they are biting off more than they can chew!
I don’t think we’re talking “civil war” (particularly since “libertarians” will be on the side of the government, as long as it gives them their drugs).
I think what they are trying to do is implant the idea in everybody’s mind that it is subversive and dangerous to be a “conservative.” This is so loosely interpreted that it even refers to mainline GOPers, because it’s an attempt to criminalize the opposition party.
That’s what all dictators do. Hitler spent a fair amount of time stoking hatred and fear of unnamed but hinted at figures in the opposition (the conservative opposition of hereditary nobility and well-off industrialists, as well as Jews in any capacity). So I’d say Obama’s just building up the mob and the apparatchiks and is using this contact in the National Guard with random, fairly average people to implant these ideas.
There are 100 million gun owners in this country, and I’d hazard that most of them have a center-right political orientation.
If worse ever comes to worse in this country, the wanna-be jack-booted thugs are going to have their hands full.
And by “terrorism”, they mean
“people defending their homes and property from the EBT zombies when the machines flash ‘error’”
What a gutless coward. He must be part of the new Gay Division.
Thank goodness the mooselimbs are safe.
This is stupid. If I was writing the OPORD for this exercise I wouldn’t get so specific about WHY the kids were poisoned. Just say that they were poisoned! Yes you need to give the enemey situation but nothing as in depth as this. Silly lefties.
Hmmm I recall back in the day when solidarity was making a lot of noise of in Poland that the regime there had a special police force kept separate from the people for oppressing them.
You have to wonder if Barky is looking towards the same sort of deal.
Where is the Republican Ohio Governor, John Kasich, on this? Does Kasich have a history of being an anti-second ammendment RINO? I remember him in Congress being a balanced budget hawk, but not much else about him. Maybe he is just ignorant of who the “enemy” is in this training.
Unless a National Guard Unit has been called up/activated for Federal Duty, that National Guard unit remains under the direct command of the Governor of the State the unit is based. Since this is an Ohio National Guard (ONG) Unit not called up for active Federal service, Governor Kasich is their ultimate commander and they serve under his direct command and control.
Since I saw no mention that this unit was under Federal Control when this drill was conducted and this article mentions them contacting state legislators for comment, I take it that is was a local ONG drill and not a Federal one. Kasich could and should personally order those conducting this training in the ONG unit to not use conservatives and second amendment supporters as terrorist in future ONG drill scenarios.
I believe that he is up for re-election in Ohio this year and remembering that he narrowly won in 2010, he can’t afford to piss off gun owners/2nd amendment supporters.
