If Graham is the only RINO you want out now, you are a large part of our problem.

No that is not true. We only have the vote of at most two senators so I don’t know what World you live in but in mine you have two Senators that are up for reelection at different times of the years. I said I want Linda out and you seem to want him to stay. I hope to win.

Mississippi voters have returned these pols, who bring the bacon home to their State. The question is, will they ever learn that it doesn’t help them, it helps the politicians and their cronies. Mississippi is still 50 out of 50 States.

Wow...off your meds again, I see.

"We only have the vote of at most two senators..."

Uhhhh.....right.

"...in mine you have two Senators that are up for reelection at different times of the years."

You live in a different world than the rest of us.

"I said I want Linda out and you seem to want him to stay."

NOTHING in my post could infer that.

And you forgot to tell us how Lindsey Graham was suckered by the South Carolina voters....your words....back 'em up.

Whatever. You vote for your Senator and I will vote for mine. You are the silliest person on Earth. You are DETERMINED to ensure the Democrats win the Senate. You have always been way liberal then most on here.

I’m not supporting Cornball and George P., but I think the people of TX will in a big way.

MS people rarely turn out an incumbent for any reason, do they?

Ask Gene Taylor that question... then ask CONSERVATIVE CONGRESSMAN Stephen Palazzo.

>> MS people rarely turn out an incumbent for any reason, do they? <<

You’re thinking about the “good ole days” — when there were virtually no black voters, when 99% of whites voted Demo and when the seniority system ruled in the U. S. Congress. Back then, a Congressman or Senator from ANY southern state (not just Mississippi) had almost a lifetime guarantee of employment at the U. S. Capitol.

Now, however, it’s different ballgame. Mississippi’s first crack in the Democrat’s dam occurred in 1964, when a chicken farmer and total unknown named Prentiss Walker rode the Goldwater Wave to oust a Demo Congressman and virtual non-entity named Arthur Winstead. Since then there have been a handful of Congressional turnovers for the Magnolia State.

But MS voters have yet to oust an incumbent U. S. Senator. For example, Haley Barbour tried in 1982 to unseat the venerable Senator John Stennis, but his effort failed miserably, and Stennis won in a landslide.

On the other hand, the 1982 race made Barbour a “household name” in GOP circles, so it was a smart move — just as I think Chris McDaniel is smart to challenge Cochran, even though the odds are vastly in Cochran’s favor. Win or lose, McDaniel probably will be a “force to be reckoned with” in MS politics for years to come.
