I thought Keith Ellison and his Democrat pals were proud of Obamacare getting those people out of nasty “job lock” to pursue their hobbies.
Employers claiming Obamacare as the reason for layoff should be getting an award for increasing “freedom” as Chuck Schumer claimed on Sunday TV.
Probably 20 years ago my SIL was on some kind of state board. The subject of unemployment came up. My SIL said something to the effect that policies should encourage people to work, not discourage them.
A black woman on the board told her off. Said work was not a part of the black culture and that my SIL should show more sensitivity to cultures other than her own.
This was 20 years ago.
