“I wouldnt go quite that far, but female nurses are extremely rough when handling male patients junk.”
Yeah, definitely doesn’t justify (what could?) a vicious attack like this on a 70 year old woman. I don’t know if female nurses are unaware, or just don’t care, about how sensitive a man’s urethra is. I’ve never been catheterized, but it certainly seems like it would be pretty unpleasant. My Mom had it done a couple times last year while being treated for bladder cancer, and she said it was quite uncomfortable. I don’t know if it’s worse for men. It may also be the case that there really isn’t a gentle, painless way to insert or remove a catheter, and best is to get it over with as quickly as possible.
It is painful on insertion. it stings very badly on removal.
No excuse whatever for beating your benefactor, though. None.
Which reminds me of a story from my youth. Two of my brother’s friends slept with the same girl of loose morals. Dave felt some unpleasantness afterward and got checked out. The doctor confirmed that he had an STD and gave him the appropriate medication. Dave told Jimmy that he needed to get checked out as well, so Jimmy went to the doctor and got one of those big Q-tips with a wooden stick inserted up his urethra to get a sample for the lab. Jimmy said it was the worst pain ever. Until the doctor came back in the room and said the sample had gotten contaminated and he was going to have to do the Q-tip procedure again. Evidently, the second time was exponentially more painful. It made me thankful that I didn’t have “game” like those guys.
