I work two jobs. I make about $54,000. If I quit my lesser job and lower my income to $40,000, the subsidy I would get for health insurance would be about $4,000 (half the cost of a Silver plan on the exchange). So, by not working and earning that $14,000, I would get $4,000. I’m still $10,000 short . . . more than that, actually, because I bought health insurance directly from the insurance company and NOT off of the O’care exchange for $2,000 less than what is offered on the exchange. So I would really be $12,000 short. I never have money left over at month’s end, so, other than having to pay my mortgage, my health insurance, homeowner’s insurance, flood insurance, amenities fees, property taxes, fill my car’s gas tank, pay my electric bill, and buy food, I would be on easy street and have “leisure time.” Isn’t it pretty to think so. Schumer is an idiot.
Of course, these crappola-spinning democRATS make no mention of how all of these people will be able to pursue their “dreams” with no income to pay their bills. Maybe that’s where the pixie dust and unicorns come in, ya’ think?
