Currently, President Obama and his Administration are deporting more than 1,100 aspiring Americans every single day. Thats 1,100 mothers and fathers and hardworking folks who come to the United States because our economy desperately needs them, our businesses aggressively recruit them, and yet our laws have not kept pace with that reality. The White House argues that it does not have the legal authority to stop or reduce the number of deportations in Americathat the only possible recourse is passing comprehensive immigration reform. But last week, advocates with the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) filed a 41-page rulemaking petition with the Department of Homeland Security presenting compelling legal analysis of how the Administration can use its executive authority to dramatically reduce or halt deportations (full disclosure: I have consulted with and supported the activities of NDLON). Most notably, the White House has already used this authority, enacting the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program last fall to give temporary relief to young immigrants known as Dreamers. The White House could very clearly, and very legally, apply such deferred action to other undocumented immigrants.
.... As a result, sometime in the next few weeks, President Obama will hit the inauspicious mark of having deported two million people during his presidency. Thats ostensibly the same number of people who were deported between 1892 and 1997in total.

Wrong Again, Ed Schultz - Deportations Haven’t Risen ‘Fivefold’ Under Obama
Internal documents obtained by the House Judiciary Committee show that the Obama administration has been cooking the books in order to reach their record number of deported illegal immigrants, chairman Rep. Lamar Smith said Friday.
Based on the internal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) documents, the number of removals are actually down, the opposite of what the administration has been claiming.
So why should I believe the administration this time?
Not very nice of his parents to name him Sally. It’s like a remake of the old Johnny Cash song.
I had no idea that the Obama Administration is deporting so many people. 2 million is a nice amount. Hopefully we will have 10 million more. I hope they keep up with this program.
I call absolute BS on this! Geez, if Obama didn’t have his sycophant Press, he would have been impeached years ago!
Obama’s “deportations” are overwhelmingly border area apprehensions of those who have just illegally entered and not internal apprehensions of those who have succeeded and began their illegal existence in this country.
The border area deportations are merely returned across the border to where they were only hours before to (in almost all cases) try again the next day. In fact, most of the coyotes (smugglers) include in their price automatic retries when the 1st attempt fails.
The border area deportations mean nothing but a lose of a few days to the would be invaders - while the internal deportations actual cost the invaders their fraudulently established identities, jobs, homes, etc... and makes recovery to where they were before apprehension & deportation a real effort.

My cartoon bubble has a mexican jumping back and forth across a line in the dirt with Big Sis holding a clicker to tally each jump to count each ‘deportation’ before handing him a swag bag with an Obama portrait to hang in his hovel , a voter registration card, and an EBT card.
