If Boehner will throw the debt ceiling to the Democrats+15 liberal Republicans, what's to prevent him doing exactly the same with Amnesty?

This is a very great danger. Joe Straus, the supposedly 'Republican' Speaker of the TX House, controls that body with a minority of GOP support allied to the 'Rat caucus. He uses that control to block conservative agenda items over and over.

The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

The constitution does not say a new speaker can't be chosen in the middle of a Congress. Boehner needs to be gone.
