Boehner challenged in primary

As a Ohioan it has come to my attention that John "the boner" Boehner is being challenged in the up coming primary election. His challenger is a conservative by the name of Eric Gurr. Mr. Gurr has stated that he supports the Tea Party`s stance on limited Constitutional Government. In light of the past and current legislative actions of Old` "Boner", you may consider looking his challenger over and possibly supporting him.

For what it`s worth, Mr. Gurr has my support. I`m told he will be contacting my Tea Party group`s leader, http://www.portagecountyteaparty.com and asking for his endorsement.

Boehner is now a wholely owned subsidiary of Nancy Pelosi. His caucus has abandoned him. He can do nothing unless Pelosi ok’s it and delivers her caucus to support him. He is a political corpse that Pelosi props up and animates. He might not even be removable because Pelosi would direct her caucus to support him so that she can continue to act through him.

Boehner's got to go.

Support Eric Gurr to oust John Boehner in OH-8

Also, press your Representative to NOT support Boehner for Speaker - or Cantor, either!

Boehner laughs in our face. He doesn’t care. Boehner is doing as his financial masters wish. For that, he’s wealthy, he’ll be taken care of for the rest of his life. And, if by chance he should lose, (not likely with the idiots here in Ohio), he can either retire to a well heeled life of leisure, or get a job on the periphery of politics.

John Boehner says I got F U money ya’ll!

If Boehner is renominated, I encourage Ohio FReepers in his district to vote for the Democrat. Pour encourager les autres.

One of the big problems with the partisan political system is that, once a congressman reaches a “leadership” position, he is virtually unbeatable, because his constituents are reluctant to give up the power and notoriety that they vicariously enjoy through their famous local politician.

Much as we despise cretins like Boehner and Pelosi, the job is theirs as long as they want it.

I will support ANYONE but Boehner in the 2014 election. I want him in another job, not where he’s at now.

The only way he is not Speaker is if he’s removed from office! Period!

They own him on something. I think he is beyond compromised. My gut tells me what it is so strongly, but it is just intuition. His behavior however screams COMPROMISED.

Yes! They voted for our opponents on the debt ceiling so we should vote for their opponents on election day.

I agree on his behavior. And it doesn't even matter if he is actually compromised. The fact that he behaves as though compromised is sufficient reason to remove him from the position.

COMPROMISED, sort of like our (former) friend in the Supreme Court, the one and only John Glover Roberts Jr. We WILL find out one day what happened. We will find out, long after their cherished adopted children have left home, long after his death or long term hospitalization for depression. Perhaps his quilt-ridden will then finally tell us all what really happened and why. Until then, to quote Al Gore, I say; “They Betrayed This Country, They Played On Our Fears!!”.

Only Boehner. This behavior must be punished severely, but not at the cost of giving up the House.

I'm ambivalent about McConnell, since a Senate term is so long and since the Dems hold (and will continue to hold) every single blue seat. I probably would vote for McConnell in a straight-up two man race.

I`m still waiting for a definite move from our TeaParty`s leader but we hold monthly meetings at a local career center, I sincerely hope Mr. Gurr speaks at the next.

Well if it`s so hopeless, and you`re willing to “throw in the towel”, why are you a “Browns fan”?

But you wouldn’t want McConnell as Senate Republican Leader, obviously.

But he has a point. WE don`t hold that seat, a progressive does. So question becomes; Am I a progressive or a Conservative?
