I don't know how the northern part of the country can even function snow and iced in for weeks, months at time. Talk about cabin-fever!!

We function in different ways, but we do function. Sure, some of us love to do 360s on the highway, some of us have frozen fish tosses, and some of us (but I will so NEVER!) even do the Polar Bear jumps.

Me, I decided to just embrace this winter which will be with us until probably after Easter. I found my cross-country ski boots, treated them for aging, and had my figure skates professionally sharpened. Why, you ask? Well, I figure if I can spend 40 minutes in 7 degree weather, with wind, to teach our dolt dog to heal in our neighborhood, I can spend 40 minutes doing something fun!

And we also have the Winter Olympics to watch...we feel so Superior to Sochi, because Sochi is so frikkin' warm! (we mask our jealousy well, doncha think?)
