Although I am not at all optimistic about our country’s future, there is a slight — very slight — possibility that a whole lot of people will wake up and say, “Hey! Our government screws up everything they touch! It’s one train wreck after another with these guys! What we need is LESS government. A lot less. Like, maybe, about as much as the Constitution says, and no more.”
Reset time.
This was at a tea party demonstration I went to at Boston Harbor, of all places.
Not a huge number of us, but...some.
Or flip to the other side of the coin like they did with education. What we have now isn’t working so we’re obviously not spending enough money so let’s give more money to the Department of Education to give to the teacher’s union. That will fix everything for sure! /s/
It's amazing that everyone, from the Supreme Court to the IRS criminals targeting political enemies, seem to have forgotten the phrase, which, if memory serves me right, cannot be repealed...
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
Will never happen. The person shedding tears IS government.
Liberals and government are joined at the hip. To say that less government is needed is the same as saying these people must cease to exist which makes you a Nazi death camp worshipper. And if you are supportive to Tea Party philosophy, then you are also a terrorist.
The reason this person is weeping is because not enough money was dedicated to the website and also there is republican obstructionism. Understand?
Seriously, short of a magic potion that causes liberals to rectify their warped thinking, the way to reduce government is to grow the private and charitable sectors so that clients of government such as this state program will transition to better options. And the way to grow these sectors is by passing the FairTax code of taxation and repealing the 16 Amendment; seriously.
