Facebook has just updated to let users choose the gender pronoun they associate with. Aside from the usual “male” and “female” options, users can choose up to 10 different gender definitions to describe themselves out of more than 50 options, including “cisgender,” “transgender” and “intersex.”

Cisgender meaning the 97-99% of us who are heterosexual, btw. I have no idea what “intersex” stands for, and I don’t really want to know, to be honest.
This is... I... a lot of things have gone through my mind after I read about this. None of them make any sense to me as a common sense minded person.
For the youth, this is a big joke. This is something they see as “not a big deal.” For those of us in the twilight of our children-rearing years or well beyond, we remember a day when boys had penises and girls had vaginas. Nowadays, if a human being with a penis (formerly a “boy”) wears make up, high heels, and a wig, that human being is a cross-dresser. If that “boy” has his penis medically removed and the area formerly housing that appendage turned inside-out to form a “vagina,” that “boy” is now a “girl” but doesn’t go by the gender term “girl,” no no... it wants to be known as a post-operative transsexual.
For boys and girls younger in their years, they prefer terms like “gender queer” or “bi-curious.” Listen, we all had our moments in our youth when we were curious. Every boy, at some point, got into mommy’s jewelry box or make up kit and painted his face or his nails. Every girl helped daddy under the hood of the car or drove a nail to hang a picture. Those are normal things we experience as we grow up. To think that you’re somehow “special” and deserving of any number of “gender normative” pronouns is arrogant and outright stupid. You’re either a boy or a girl.
You were born with either two X chromosomes or an X and a Y. YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH NATURE! These are not polite suggestions, they are natural laws. Removing your penis and having a cavity bored into your pelvis does not a woman make.
The ONLY thing that this “gender normative” garbage does is celebrate HOW PEOPLE HAVE SEX! There’s nothing NATURAL or NORMAL about this behavior. You’re a homosexual or you’re not. There’s really no in-between on this.
God save us all.
By the way, here in America, we're not going nuts. We have given ourselves to evil. There is a difference.

Yes, Canada (to our shame) was ahead of America in the legalization of two homosexuals pretending they are a married couple.
I am just waiting for any brave preachers up here to be jailed for speaking the truth. They seem to be tip-toeing around the issue.

If you edit your basic information in your profile, you’re now offered a gender choice of “Other” in addition to “Male” and “Female.”
If you choose “Other,” Facebook offers a text box to type in your gender of choice. However, it must match one of the 50 predetermined genders; typing in, for example, “Evil Galactic Overlord,” “People don’t have gender, nouns do, you morons,” or “Normal, Healthy, Heterosexual Male” will result in an error message.
Which means that the user interface is misleading. A text box implies “Here, type whatever you want.” I’m going to invent some new “gender” that I identify myself as, then sue them for discrimination.
Sick.
