To: carriage_hill

I have thought about getting a bunker, either a Titan Missle silo, or a few southward facing storage containers built into a hill.

I live too close to Yellowstone....

I would use it as a cellar for storing stuff, but if Yellowstone would pop I could go into it and stay until the pyroclastic flow died down outside.

If you’re buried under the flow, how would you get out? I’ve got a feeling that when that thing finally blows, most of the US (excluding Alaska & Hawaii) are going to be pretty much uninhabitable for a long time. Probably won’t be in our lifetime, though.
