I actually rarely see Hispanics or Asians on English-language television. I do see a disproportionate number of blacks, Jews, and gays, however. Almost as odd as the fact that nearly every TV show set in New York shows folks with ho hum jobs living in expensive apartments. The problem with all of this is most foreigners (including here in Brazil) think America is what they see on TV.
