Biden: "[O]n Every Major Issue, the American People Agree With the Democratic Party"

For conservative bloggers, Vice President Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving.

Roll Call has the scoop (via Weasel Zippers):

“For the first time in my career … on every major issue, the American people agree with the Democratic Party,” said Biden, rattling off areas where polling shows that agreement, such as: reproductive issues, early childhood education, an immigration overhaul, background checks for gun users and unemployment insurance.

“I can’t think of a time when the issues that most affect the American people, most affect the middle class, overwhelmingly, overwhelmingly support us,” he said, praising DCCC recruitment of solid congressional candidates. The vice president offered to campaign where necessary and stressed that the game isn’t over yet.

I seriously don’t even know where to begin. I suppose we could take a look at some public opinion surveys addressing a few different “major” issues? Let’s do it.

(1) Buried in a new Fox News poll, 55 percent of respondents say they “wish the health care law [Obamacare] had never passed.” This includes millennials (55 percent), middle class households earning less than $50,000 per year (52 percent), and many Democrats (28 percent). Question: How many Republican members of Congress voted for that law again, Mr. Vice President? Oh right: Zero. Strike one.

(2) Most Americans do not support the NSA’s meta-data collection program this president has expanded in order to bolster and aid the U.S. government’s counter-terrorism efforts. To wit, a recent USA Today/Pew Research Center poll finds that 53 percent of respondents stand firmly against the NSA's collection of Americans’ phone and data records. Surely Biden understands that not everyone supports his boss on this issue -- who just so happens to be the leader of the Democratic Party? Strike two.

(3) Lastly, what about abortion? Do the American people “agree” with Democrats on right-to-life issues? Nope. Never mind that millennials are beginning to lead the national pro-life movement, a Huffington Post (!) survey conducted last summer found that 59 percent of respondents support a federal late-term abortion ban. This finding is particularly instructive. Why? Because the national Democratic Party ran on a platform that was radically pro-choice in 2012. For the most part, a majority of Americans find terminating a pregnancy after 20 weeks gestation repugnant and morally wrong. Strike three.

I could go on and on. But these points should refute Biden’s contention that the American people agree with the Democratic Party on “every major issue.”

They certainly don't.

the NSA’s meta-data collection program

Anybody who believes that the NSA is just collecting "metadata" is just stupid. Let me say that again - stupid.

They have the money to buy the disk drives, the processors and the software to record EVERYTHING that goes over the wire. Everything. Not just the start time / stop time / phone number / cell tower / etc from your cell phone calls. EVERYTHING.

If they can (and they CAN) - they will. And they are.

Yeah but don’t forget: Right now we’re going through a moron apocalypse in this country. Think of a zombie apocalypse but much much worse and that idiot Biden could very well win. It’s how Obama won twice. There was an article today that said 1 out of 4 people don’t know that the earth revolves around the sun.

http://www.breitbart.com/system/wire/6e49b254-fc12-4176-8ab6-c6146611c372

Is that unreal or what? That’s how bad the moron apocalypse has become. That’s 25% of the population which is a huge amount. These are the kind of people Democrats love because they can lead them to the polls with mere trinkets and a nudge and they will do anything they ask including voting for someone even dumber than themselves like Joe Biden.

On that topic, you should watch Snowden’s interview:

Are we certain the American people vote the dims in? I no longer am. I believe many elections are being stolen. Especially since dim ballots show up in dim car trunks all the time. 120% of registered voters vote in an American city and all for the dim. I am beginning to believe that any local with voting machines or computer systems suffer massive voter fraud every election. Finger print and dye the hands of every city voter.

Finger print and dye the hands of every city voter...sure seemed to work for Iraq - while I do believe that some elections have clearly been stolen, like JFK's and "Senator" Al Franken, the senator who never was who cast the deciding vote on the healthcare deform that never was, it's hard for me to think that in most elections enough votes could be stolen to really make a difference - maybe if we ever get a strong enough Republican administration in Washington we can have a DOJ which will really investigate some of these reported cases of fraudulent votes......

You got to remember, “major issue” to Clueless Joe is defined as hair plugs vs wigs.

I hope I am wrong. But I don’ t think so. I now believe vote fraud is far more widespread and aggregious then we dare believe. The lengths to which the DOJ goes to suppress voter ID requirements provides emperical evidence to the fact.
