Fracking earthquakes!
I lived in So Cal for a decade and nary felt an earth quake
I think a 5.6t got my attention.
Were you here for Northridge, now THAT was a quake, live 40 min from Northridge and we lost our darn chimney
Naw but I remember the road getting like liquid once Whoaaa..
And I remember the bookcase almost coming off the wall another time.
Valentines Day, earth moving? Ummmmmmmmmmm.......
We didnt have power for 2 days and some vases broke..would have been even worse had it happened at 4:32PM instead of AM..death toll would have been much much higher because of the collapsed parking structures and freeway buckle
We were five miles from the epicenter........we lost lots inside the house,but luckily no structural damage. Traumatic for the whole family.
That reminds me...
One day, a Sunday, Me and the Missus were fooling around in a spillway behind a dam up in the Ca mountains, away from prying eyes and the earth just starts shaking.
I looked at her and said did the earth move for you?
She says “yeah”
I jump up and here is a herd of cattle coming down on us.
I charged the bull, buck nekkid, and he high tailed it up the hill.
