I just get amused at the blanket “wall” wailings that totally disregard the fact that the border is a river in Texas.

I think there may be an easier way. Start charging The illegal’s home country for their medical bills or any other costs incurred by the illegal alien. Those governments will stop people from crossing our border pronto. At least IMHO.
